This shroud design is loosely based on the STG 44 sturmgewehr. So it's okay if you image it to be something else ;) I prefer this type of shrouds over shrouds with rails on it. and besides it makes the basic TMC look different!
There are 2 options here to print a complete AK shroud or the AK SHORT this means one without the gasblock. But you can add this on there as a separate piece. And possibly use this for other shrouds as well as decoration. The AK sight is basically the same as theSturmgewehr 44 one. But it got 2 lines added at the bottom to match the gasblock.
Depending on you barrel size are there various sizes to pick from. To support the shroud while using a different barrel.
Do you like the Tippmann TMC? YES! but do you wish it had the Lock Bolt ? Well I got you covered.
The dual mag covers are there to help prevent that things like rain, mud, sand can get in your magazines. And protect them from impact damage like paintball impacts.
Here are some options to customise your butt stock of the TMC. Or just to have a dropdown buffer tube so that aiming is more easy with a mask on.
Do you want the triggers to look and feel different ? Here are some options for you.
Replacement feed plugs with a option to use a cord so you don’t lose it again. And there is a model that is also a Iron sight in case that is damaged or lost.
The turn knob is easier to find and turn this way than the original. The other 2 parts are mainly made to keep dust or rain out of the system. The top door can be slide open en closed after reloading.
The other ring is so the opening in the tube and be turned down wards so sand can fall out. And rain haves a harder time to get in.
Keep in mind when you try the turn out the original pin in of the slide. That this pin will most likely brake this happened with 2 out the 2 with me. So you need to drill it out and make some threats
in there your self. so be warned!
Or use the replacement part of the original spring head. This one should have less trouble with dust and sand than the original.
There are 2 editions the HV version got a hole in the grip. This way you only have to loosen it a little and place your finger inside the original grip to turn it lose. In other words you only need to have the HV version when you have a need to remove the grip for things like transportation. Otherwise I would just go for the normal one.
